Anika + Tj
Anika & TJ’s Italy elopement took place in not one location, but across the entire country. On the first day, we started off at Seceda in the Italian Dolomites in the morning. We stopped for pizza together, did some touch ups, and then hurried off to our final location of the day: Cadini Di Misurina. Cadini had been at the top of my bucket list for years. I still think it is one of the most incredible places on earth. As the sun began to set, we began the 45 minute hike to the point of Cadini. We caught the last glimpses of light as we reached the end of the trail, as the golden rays flickered against the cathedral of rock. Anika & TJ read their vows together at the center of the mountain scape as the sun tucked below the peaks.
We took the next few days to make our way down to Rome. We took to the streets near the Roman Forum and took a more editorial approach compared to our days documenting in the Dolomites. They caught absolutely everyone’s eye while we were shooting- hundreds of people throughout the evening stopping to look or take photos. It was like they were little celebrities. It was definitely a week to remember- the best way to tie the knot in my opinion.
